IDEOLOGI PADA FILM UANG PANNAI MAHAL DALAM PRESPEKTIF HERMENEUTIKA HABERMAS (Ideology in the Film Uang Pannai Mahal in Habermas Hermenutics Prespectives)

Abstract


his paper aims to obtain a picture of Bugis-Makassar society ideology in the film Money Pannai Mahal by using hermeneutics. This paper uses descriptive qualitatiini method find The results of this study shows the film Money Pannai Mahal menggambarka expression of its characters in the form of action; first, the communication act, which satisfies four claims of validity that are clear, true, honest and correct; both actions that aim at action on the success of the goal. The ideology contained in this film is to present two different perceptions in view of self-esteem (sirik) to adjust his self-esteem as something that trigger work ethic. second, putting self-esteem as something that can be measured with matter. Another ideology is about money pannai; the first tendency in determining the amount of money pannai based on status and social strata because the wedding party is a symbol of family prestige that carry out the party; second, the view is that pannai money is a symbol of reverence, meaning with respect to the person to be proposed.
