PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS BERBASIS KONSTRUKTIVISME PADA SISWA KELAS II SLTP NEGERI 18 MAKASSAR

Abstract


Writing learning model applied by teacher, less pays attention and develops the potential and students' creativity in writing, either in /developing studlents' idea, expressing individual experience, or in exercising students to describe simply about the phenomenon or thing using their own language. Through the research, learning writing based on constructivism a teacher could appreciate studlents' opinion and question, get closed with the students, and involve students in choosing or determining the suitable material with their needs. Its performing mechanisms are divided into two cycles. Each ycle is performed by three steps started from planning, action and observation, to reflection. Result of research relating to increasing writing creativity based constructivism on studlents' class II SLTP NEGERI 18 MAKASSAR involves (a) encouraging interest technique and student response, (b) encouraging braveness technique in cashing and proposing opinion, and (c) increasing students creativity technique in writing constructively.

 

Abstrak Model pembelajaran menulis yang selama ini diterapkan guru, kurang memperhatikan dan mengembangkan potensi dan kreativitas siswa dalam menulis; baik dalam mengembangkan gagasan siswa, mengekspresikan pengalaman pribadi, maupun dalam melatih siswa mendeskripsikan secara sederhana tentang suatu fenomena atau benda dengan bahasa sendiri. Melalui penelitian, pembelajaran menulis berbasis konstruktivisme ini seorang guru dapat menghargai pendapat atau pertanyaan siswa, dekat dengan siswa, dan melibatkan siswa dalam memilih atau menentukan materi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Mekanisme pelak-sanaannya dengan dua (2) siklus. Setiap siklus masing-masing dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahap mulai dari tahap (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan dan pengamatan, dan (3) refleksi. Hasil penelitian tentang peningkatan kreativitas menulis berbasis konstruktivisme siswa kelas II SLTP Negeri 18 Makassar, meliputi (a) teknik membangkitkan minat, dan respon siswa, (b) teknik membangkitkan keberanian bertanya dan mengemukakan pendapat, dan (c) teknik mening-katkan kreativitas menulis siswa secara konstruktivisme.
