Author Guidelines

SAWERIGADING JOURNAL GUIDELINES

 

The manuscript submitted into the journal of Sawerigading must fulfill the following conditions below.

  1. The manuscript is never published and does not submit to the other publishes party; it must not contain plagiarism.
  2. The manuscript is in Indonesian or English, 12 -- 15 pages, typed on A4 paper, Times New Roman, font 12, space 1, upper and lower margins 3 cm, left and right margins 3,17 cm.
  3. Total pages are maximum 15 pages including references and table(s)
  1. The manuscript is in the form of research results or conceptual ideas about language and literature scope.
  1. The manuscript was written systematically, such as (a) title; (b) author's name (without academic degree); (c) origin of the institution; (d) abstract (maximum 200 words) in English and Indonesian; (e) keywords (3 – 5 words/phrases); (f) format of Research Result: INTRODUCTION (background, problem, and purpose of writing), THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK, METHOD, DISCUSSION, CLOSING (conclusion and suggestion or implication), REFERENCES; (g) the format of Conceptual Ideas: INTRODUCTION, CONTENT, CLOSING, REFERENCES.
  2. The table description is placed above the table concerned avoiding vertical lines, while the image description is placed under the image.
  3. The manuscript is sent using the OJS system through the website of Sawerigading Balai Bahasa Sulawesi Selatan to www.sawerigading.kemdikbud.go.id.
  4. The editorial of Sawerigading opens the opportunity to the general public (researchers, lecturers, teachers, and other professionals) to submit the manuscript corresponding to the point (4).
  5. The certainty of acceptance/rejection of the manuscript can be seen by the online system.
  6. The editorial has the authority to manage the publishing period and the writing format according to rules which have been determined by Sawerigading.
  7. The use of references should pay attention to the following systems.

      The references must be written in APA style, the author can visit (http://www.apastyle.org) for seeing examples of the reference style.

      The references are expected to wear Mendeley.

      References should be referenced in terms of the last five years (specially journal) and at least ten references minimum.

      The references are arranged alphabetically and chronologically by the following procedures.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Author retain copyright and grant the journal of first publication with the work simultaneously licenced under Creative Commons Atribution Licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) that allows other to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
